Search the edges of the swamp for wintering birds. Be prepared for muddy or icy conditions. We will carpool to the trail head. Troy Meadows in Parsippany/East Hanover is an excellent place to encounter wintering birds of prey, marsh birds, and woodland species. Footing can be wet. Drive to the end of Troy Meadows Road and you will see a parking area to your left. Footing may be wet. Meet at the small parking area along Troy Meadow Rd, close to the gas pipeline crossing.
