Join Park Naturalist Jim for a free guided geology hike at Round Valley Recreation Area. Meet at the outdoor classroom at the South Parking Lot to learn about the gneiss rocks in the park ('gneiss' is pronounced 'nice'), engage in a Q&A that covers a few fun facts about the Flemington Fault that runs through the reservoir, and last but not least, bring an old-school compass to learn a cool rock-related magic trick that'll defy the earth's magnetic field!
